The purpose of the research project is to follow the emerging collaboration platform Centre for Welfare Change and to map out the effects achieved through its activities, as well as to create knowledge about the organizational and institutional dynamics of change that the establishment entails.

The background of the project is a need to generate knowledge about the effects of academic initiatives aimed at increasing collaboration and societal benefit from research. These initiatives often involve new working methods and organizational forms within academic institutions and collaborating parties. This project follows such an initiative aimed at co-producing, making accessible, and utilizing new knowledge and working methods in collaboration with partners from academia, the public sector, industry, and civil society.

The starting point for the research project is a practice-theoretical understanding of technology and work. Therefore, the study aims to closely follow the establishment of the Centre through qualitative methods such as interviews, observations, and document analysis.
Project objective
The objective is to create knowledge about organizational forms with the aim of being change-bearing. Also, to evaluate the outcomes of the specific initiative Centre for Welfare Change.
