In this project, obstacles and opportunities within shift care are investigated today in order to gain knowledge about how to develop care for people with dementia today and in the future. The purpose of the project is to explore and describe variations in experiences of care, quality of life and dignity in people with dementia and their relatives. In addition, the study aims to shed light on the dilemmas and measures taken by healthcare professionals in different parts of the chain surrounding people with dementia who receive alternative care, and their relatives.
