The target group for the project is elderly people who have health and care needs that could be met with targeted interventions in the home instead of moving into special housing. The project intends to create a knowledge base for decisions in line with the municipality's goal to develop proactive care and care with high quality to prevent increased need for care and care. The purpose of the research project is to create a knowledge base regarding the elderly's conditions for remaining in residence and to shed light on working methods to support this at home. This study will contribute to evidence and knowledge development nationally and internationally regarding the conditions for remaining residents and will be used to further develop multidimensional efforts for older people in Eskilstuna municipality.
