Being who one is, where one wants, in what one wants: Constructing participation within systems of (dis)ability
The project explore how and for whom participation is constructed based on people with intellectual disabilities' experiences of participation in central areas of life. The project will also highlight processes of categorisation and labelling and its affect on participation.

The overall aim of the dissertation was to explore and discuss how and for whom participation was constructed in relation to practices of able-mindedness and its position in systems of (dis)ability.
The project's purpose is to fraw attention to different views of participation and disability in order to problematise how, for whom, in what, why and in what way participation is constructed.
