MDU Joins NVIDIA CUDA-Q Academic Program
MDU is proud to announce that it will participate in the NVIDIA CUDA-Q Academic Program. The program will provide MDU with access to self-paced, educational modules featuring interactive coding exercises and instructional videos.
“We are thrilled to become part of NVIDIA’s quantum ecosystem,” said Martin Hellström, Vice Chancellor of MDU.
“Quantum computing has the power to transform our world in profound ways,” said Tim Costa, Director of HPC and Quantum Computing at NVIDIA. “By joining the CUDA-Q Academic Program, which was created to empower the next generation of quantum computing talent, Mälardalen University gains access to tools, platforms and expertise to drive breakthroughs in the field.”
The NVIDIA CUDA-Q Academic Program modules are designed to educate and assist students in constructing and refining quantum algorithms utilizing both simulators and quantum hardware. These resources will help students acquire the necessary skills to undertake research projects and create hybrid quantum-classical applications.
“This collaboration opens up new opportunities for us to empower faculty and students, and to accelerate education and research in the fields of quantum computing and artificial intelligence,” said Paul Pettersson, Vice President of MDU.
