Welcome NEUMANN

The NEUMANN project (Novel Energy and propUlsion systeMs for Air dominance) is funded under European Defence Fund (EDF). We had the pleasure of hosting its second Project Management Team Meeting and General Assembly on 4th and 5th October 2023 here at Mälardalen University in Västeras, Sweden.

The project coordinated by Avio Aero aims to address propulsion and energy systems technologies required for a highly efficient powerplant, able to deliver at the same time increased electrical power generation and thrust-to-weight ratio, which are necessary to cope with the mission requirements and operational needs of the next generation of fighter aircraft.
