Distributed Software Development
The course is project-based, where students from three universities work together in a project in a distributed environment. Groups are made of 5-8 students working together. The project work includes requirements specification, design and implementation of a software system, and the presentation of the project status and final results. The course uses a videoconference system for joined lectures, seminars and presentations, and other means for distributed communication. The course represents a unique opportunity for students to experience and learn how to cooperate in a real geographically distributed environment.

At least 120 ECTS credits of higher education where at least 90 ECTS credits are in the area of computer science where at least 7,5 ECTS credits is about Java, C++ or another object-oriented language. In addition Swedish course B/Swedish course 3 and English course A/English course 6 are required. For courses given entirely in English exemption is made from the requirement in Swedish course B/Swedish course 3.
