This course covers the fundamentals of modelling and simulation in the environmental engineering field. You will learn how mathematical models can be classified, how to select a specific model or a development method for a model, as well as how to simulate and validate the model. You will look at examples such as wastewater treatment and air pollution and see how modelling can be applied to the field of environmental engineering.
