​In this course you will learn how statistics can be used in science and engineering to enhance the thrill of discovery, facilitate the creation of new knowledge, challenge your assumptions, and make good decisions based on data. Statistics is vital in every field and in this course, you will learn the role it can play in the field of sustainable development. You will learn certain statistical tools, how to apply them, and ways of thinking about results that will aid you in your studies and future career.

    Specific requirements

    120 credits of which 90 credits engineering and/or natural science and 7.5 credits in mathematics. In addition Swedish course B/Swedish course 3 and English course B/English course 6 are required. For courses given entirely in English exemption is made from the requirement in Swedish course B/Swedish course 3.
