Objectives
The purpose of the course is to develop the participant's didactic digital competence.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course, the participant shall demonstrate the ability to:
1. make use of, and assist in the development of, digital learning environments to promote learning for groups and for individuals,
2. collect, analyse and communicate their own and others' experiences of teaching and learning practices, and relevant outcomes of research, as a basis for the development of educational practice and of the academic profession,
3. interact with students in an inclusive manner.

Specific requirements
A teaching position at Mälardalen University.
Examination
SEM1, seminar, 1.5 credits, active participation in seminars concerning learning outcomes 1 and 2, grade Fail (U) or Pass (G).
VIL1, activity-integrated learning, 1.0 credits, presentation concerning learning outcomes 1 and 3, grade Fail (U) or Pass (G).
For Pass (G) on the course as a whole, the student must have earned that grade for SEM1 and VIL1.
A student who has a certificate from MDU regarding a disability has the opportunity to submit a request for supportive measures during written examinations or other forms of examination, in accordance with the Rules and Regulations for Examinations at First-cycle and Second-cycle Level at Mälardalen University (2020/1655). It is the examiner who takes decisions on any supportive measures, based on what kind of certificate is issued, and in that case which measures are to be applied.
Suspicions of attempting to deceive in examinations (cheating) are reported to the Vice-Chancellor, in accordance with the Higher Education Ordinance, and are examined by the University’s Disciplinary Board. If the Disciplinary Board considers the student to be guilty of a disciplinary offence, the Board will take a decision on disciplinary action, which will be a warning or suspension.

Course participant admitted to PEA915 who has not completed PEA915 can do so according to the old syllabus until the autumn of 2024. New examinations are organized as needed.
Course participant admitted to this course who has passed SEM1 in PEA915 can transfer those credits to SEM1 in this course. Credits for VIL1 in PEA915 cannot be transfered to this course.
The learning outcomes 1 and 2 in this course overlap the learning outcomes in PEA915. The learning outcome 3 is new.
