Syfte
Kursen syftar till att studenten ska skaffa sig ytterligare fördjupade kunskaper om filosofiska och teoretiska utgångspunkter i vårdvetenskap och omvårdnad. Studenten skall även utveckla sin förmåga till kritiskt informationsutbyte på vetenskaplig nivå.
Lärandemål
Efter avslutad kurs ska studenten kunna:
1 redogöra för och värdera olika filosofiska och teoretiska perspektiv av relevans för kunskapsutveckling inom vårdvetenskap och omvårdnad
2 analysera skillnader och likheter i framställning av grundläggande begrepp inom vårdvetenskaplig teoribildning
3 värdera innebörder av begrepp, modeller och teorier i relation till omvårdnaden av patienten
4 jämföra hur vårdvetenskapliga begrepp framträder i olika vårdande kontexter

Filosofiska och teoretiska perspektiv i vårdvetenskap och omvårdnad
Begrepp, modeller och teorier inom vårdvetenskap och omvårdnad
Teoriers betydelse i praxis
Undervisning
Undervisning genomförs i form av individuella studier, föreläsningar, seminarier och grupparbeten.
Särskild behörighet
Kandidatexamen i vårdvetenskap/omvårdnadsvetenskap eller motsvarande. Dessutom krävs Sv B/Sv 3 samt En B/En 6. I de fall kursen ges på engelska görs undantag från kravet på Sv B/Sv 3.
Examination
Gruppuppgift (GRU1), 2 hp, avseende lärandemål 3-4. Betyg Godkänd (G) eller Väl Godkänd (VG).
Inlämningsuppgift (INL1), 3,5 hp, individuell inlämningsuppgift avseende lärandemål 1-4. Betyg Godkänd (G) eller Väl Godkänd (VG).
Seminarium (SEM1), 2 hp, aktivt deltagande i kursens seminarier avseende lärandemål 1-4. Betyg Godkänd (G).
För betyget Väl godkänd på kursen krävs VG på INL1. För närmare anvisningar se studiehandledning.
En student som har ett intyg från MDU avseende sin funktionsnedsättning har möjlighet att anmäla önskemål om anpassning vid salstentamina eller annan examinationsform i enlighet med Regler och anvisningar för examination på grundnivå och avancerad nivå vid Mälardalens högskola (2020/1655). Det är examinator som, utifrån det intyg som utfärdats, beslutar om eventuell anpassning och i så fall vilken anpassning som ska gälla.
Misstankar om vilseledande vid examination (fusk) anmäls, enligt högskoleförordningen, till universitetets rektor och prövas av universitetets disciplinnämnd. Om disciplinnämnden anser att en student gjort sig skyldig till en disciplinförseelse fattar nämnden beslut om en disciplinär åtgärd, vilket är varning eller avstängning.
