New student
Welcome to MDU and congratulations to making a great choice. You will need to put an effort in both preparing for your arrival to Sweden and also during your studies in what probably is a new country for you. But it will be worth it as it makes you grow and sets you up with all the skills you need for your future career.

Info sessions
Join our info sessions especially for you who are a newly admitted international student. Write your name and t-shirt size in the chat during the session and you'll have a nice MDU t-shirt waiting when you arrive here in August.
Paying your tuition fee
Fee-paying students will receive your payment information by email. There's of course also a web page about the fees where you can find more details.
Residence permit
Apply for residence permit (if applicable) through www.migrationsverket.se, as soon as possible and well prepared with necessary documents. The time to decision can be 3-4 months.
Starting your studies
There are some things to keep in mind in order to get the best possible start as a student at MDU. Creating a student account, registering for your programme and courses are some of the next steps to take, once we get closer to the start of the semester.
