Important dates for exchange students

5 April 2024

Online application opens for the autumn semester 2024.

May 2024

Last day for coordinators at partner universities to nominate students for an exchange period for the autumn semester 2024:

10 May for all students from one of our partner Universities.

Last day for students to submit a complete application:

15 May for all students from one of our partner Universities.

June 2024

Notification of admission is sent out by email to those with a complete application:

4 June for applicants from outside the EU/EEA area.
17–18 June for applicants within the Erasmus exchange program.

June/July 2024

The accommodation agency Bostad Västerås starts sending out offers of accommodation to applicants.

2 September 2024

Official start of the autumn semester. Reception and introduction days are held for all new students before the official start. More information will follow.

19 January 2025

Official end of the autumn semester.
