Description of the project
Reliability of composed components is difficult to predict due to complexity of possible interactions. Our aim is to propose a reliability model for a €™Progress component model€™. The starting point is based on our earlier work (together with Alexander Dimov) on a suitable reliability model for SAVE systems. Reliability modeling is mostly needed during component evaluation phase, architectural selection, for performing sensitivity analysis and in some cases even for certification purposes.
