The Welcoming

We want you to always have a great start to the semesters you study with us. That's why we organise The Welcoming!

Every autumn and spring semester starts with The Welcoming. Every other year it is in Eskilstuna and every other year in Västerås. Of course, free buses run between the locations for those who need!

Autumn term

In August we have our biggest event The Welcoming, which consists of a large outdoor area with several activities. We're talking festival feeling and cool elements on stage. There is also a large fair with exhibitors, all there because they have something to offer you as a student.

Spring term

In January, The Welcoming takes a somewhat different form, with a slightly smaller and cosier indoor hangout. A fair with exhibitors and a stage but with a more intimate touch.
