MDU's research leads to necessary knowledge and development – for Swedish industry and welfare, but also to solve some of the global challenges. The greatest part of research is conducted in cooperation with the private and the public sectors.
New research shows changes in remote working
During the Coronavirus pandemic, many workplaces switched to remote working, which entailed many challenges both for employees and managers. In 2021, a study was conducted at MDU about the groups' experiences, which showed in particular that we have become more productive during remote working. On 1 January 2016, the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development — adopted by world leaders — officially came into force. Over the next fifteen years countries will mobilize efforts to end all forms of poverty, fight inequalities and tackle climate change, while ensuring that no one is left behind.
