Description of the project
The Industrial Digital Movement (Digitala Stambanan) is an enabler for international competitiveness in the process and manufacturing industry. It is a collaborative project between the Strategic Innovation Programs Produktionen2030 and PiiA
financed under the framework of the ”Samverkansprogrammet Uppkopplad industri och smarta material”.
Increased digitalization creates completely new opportunities for speed and flexibility in the supply chains. This allows companies to collaborate with each other and with customers in completely new ways. The project focuses on data transfer between companies / organizations in a value network. The process and manufacturing industry create a common definition of a digital highway in the form of a matrix and a Proof Of Concept where needs and technologies are tested through different sub projects / case studies.
Deliveries from the project will be:
- Case descriptions as the basis for the storytelling that is being built and used for dissemination of results and interest-creating activities.
- Identified presence state at analyzed case companies and identified success factors that are quantified and serve as evidence of the effects of The Industrial Digital Movement.
- Demand for a digital highway in the form of the matrix produced during the project.
- Prototypes for a digital highway developed in the two hubs of the project and then integrated into a common technical prototype solution for test run, a Proof of Concept for The Industrial Digital Movement.
