The KOMPA-project aims at constructing knowledge to support the development and implementation of tailor-made activities to increase the competency amongst HR-employees. Through a project design involving workshops, interviews and a survey, the project will:(1) identify gaps in the competency of the HR- profession regarding AI-based technologies used in HR-work, and; (2) draft recommendations for how the competency of HR-professionals can be developed. This way, the project will contribute to an increased ability within the HR-profession when it comes to working with AI-based technology, which supports their chances of staying relevant in their organisations and at the labour market, while also increasing the potential for innovation and sustainable growth.
Through the KOMPA project, the project's actors will together deepen the understanding of the future development around which specific competencies will be in demand by HR professionals, and what is therefore required of the profession in the future labor market. By accurately identifying these skill needs, we can ensure that future efforts are relevant and effective in preparing individuals for the challenges described above.
Project objective
The KOMPA project aims to create knowledge that supports the development and implementation of tailored interventions for the competence development of HR employees. This will increase the profession's ability to work with AI-based HR technology, promoting the ability to stay relevant in their organizations and in the labor market, while increasing the conditions for innovation and sustainable growth. Based on the above purpose, the following 2 project goals have been set: (1) Identify skill gaps in the HR profession regarding AI-based technologies in HR work; (2) Formulate recommendations on how the HR profession's competencies need to be developed.
Eva Lindell is the scientific leader of the project. Elvria Synnelius is the administrative project manager.
