Description of the project

The purpose of this project is to study and evaluate interactivity in exhibition context. The intention is a thorough investigation and documentation of the complex interplay taking place in the meeting between visitors, concepts and technique. The concept of interaction is understood in a wide perspective, where also the individuals interaction with each other and with the technical device is reflected upon. Both planned and spontaneous interaction will be studied. To identify the conditions for interaction is necessary for a good interpretation of the content. This case study is an assignment from the public authority The Living History Forum. The methods are qualitative and consists of fieldwork and interviews in connection to an exhibition on intolerance. The purpose of the exhibition is to strengthen the democratic desire and readiness among young people with an ambivalent ideological attitude.
