IHR - Older adult´s multidimensional health: a randomized control study of home care in one municipality with qualitative measures to follow-up the intervention.

The project Intensive Home Rehabilitation (IHR) has been designed as an intervention where the researchers, who are older (65+) who have applied for nursing care in the municipal home care service have received intensive home rehabilitation performed by an interprofessional team. The results were then compared with a control group who received the usual home care service. The research project is intended to evaluate the effects of the intensive home rehabilitation by measuring multidimensional health among the elderly compared with traditional care interventions.

In addition, the project has intended to shed light on the elderly's perspective on the intervention received, as well as the experiences and experiences of the interprofessional team.
