About the project
The project aims to develop and evaluate digital simulation-based education prototype in physiotherapy. The goal is to strengthen physiotherapy students’ learning of clinical skills (clinical reasoning, communication, and practical skills) to better support behaviour change in patients with musculoskeletal conditions. By developing and evaluating a new digital simulation-based educational tool, the project seeks to contribute with new engaging learning environments that can help students prepare for real-life clinical situations and their future professional role.
Project objective
The overall aim of this thesis is to develop digital simulation-based education in physiotherapy training and evaluate the usability and perceived benefits in relation to students’ learning of clinical skills to support behaviour change in patients with musculoskeletal conditions.
