School authorities in Sweden are mandated to carry out systematic quality work that drives continuous improvement in compulsory education. This can be approached in various ways, based on different pedagogical and organizational models. This project, conducted in close collaboration with a municipal school authority, explores how such work can be carried out and developed over time.

Project objective

The purpose is to contribute to knowledge about dialogues and processes within the framework of systematic quality development in compulsory schools. The research focuses on understanding how municipal school administration engages in and supports continuous quality improvement efforts.
