Description of the project
The project will develop a complete basis for analysis of investment decisions for photovoltaic plants. It is based on Levelized Cost of Energy (LCOE), an internationally recognized model for analyzing the production of energy. The model will be adapted to Swedish PV generation. The project will set the standards for the parameters in the model. It will make quotes from different providers fully comparable with each other. A general model is made for the assessment of future income from a solar investment. An important part of the project is to make the model generally established in the industry and ensuring broad use. Through a website and participating in various forums and conferences, we spread the model and describes how it can be used by developers, building owners, designers, etc. We also produce a material for suppliers of solar cells, as a basis for bids and tenders. . To keep the model up to date and relevant over time a plan will be made for future management.
