Public participation in the research process
Public participation in the research process means that members of the public take part in research through data collection, analysis, or feedback.
The move toward greater societal relevance and openness is part of the government’s and SUHF’s view of a modern research system. It helps strengthen legitimacy and increase the societal usefulness of research results.
