Important dates for exchange students

6 September 2024

Online application opens for the spring semester 2025.

October 2024

Last day for coordinators at partner universities to nominate students for an exchange period for the spring semester 2025:

• 10 October for all students from one of our partner Universities.

Last day for students to submit a complete application:

• 15 October for all students from one of our partner Universities.

November 2024

Notification of admission is sent out by email to those with a complete application:

• 7 November for applicants from outside the EU/EEA area
• 25-26 November for applicants within the Erasmus exchange program

November/December 2024

The accommodation agency Bostad Västerås starts sending out offers of accommodation to applicants.

20 January 2025

Official start of the spring semester. Reception and introduction days are held for all new students before the official start. More information will follow.

8 June 2025

Official end of the spring semester.
