Optimization of Production Systems
How can we make a system work in the best possible way? And is there a unique best possible solution? In the course we explore the principles behind optimization methods from an applied perspective. Together we develop models for production processes, and we use them for design space exploration and system evaluation. We dive into multi-objective optimization, and we investigate ways of dealing with tradeoffs and conflicting objectives. Throughout the course we use industry-standard software and we look at real-world cases on production optimization.
