Industrial Maintenance Development

About the course
Maintenance is a critical factor for the reliability of production systems. In this course you will learn the methods and techniques available to develop an effective maintenance. You will gain knowledge on maintenance as a value-adding activity and how to identify the parts of maintenance that generate value for the organization.
You will also learn to analyze maintenance data using different types of analysis, such as Life Cycle Cost Analysis (LCC) and Root Cause Failure Analysis.
You will learn
- the value of maintenance and relating maintenance activities to the different costs they can be linked to
- analyze and evaluate maintenance and reliability data, and based on the analysis, understand the impact of the current reliability on the reliability of the production system
- basic principles for planning/scheduling maintenance

40 credits in engineering/technology and at least 2 years of work experience in full-time from relevant area within industry.
In addition, Swedish course B/Swedish course 3 and English course A/English course 6 are required. For courses given entirely in English exemption is made from the requirement in Swedish course B/Swedish course 3.Selection
