English 4, Narrative and theory
The objective of the course is for students to acquire more in-depth knowledge within literary studies, with a special focus on narrative techniques, narratology and related fields. The course also provides enhanced insights regarding English-language literature as well as writing in English within literary studies.

90 credits English, of which 22.5 credits with progressive specialization in literature, and of these 7.5 credits must be from English 3, or equivalent. In addition, Swedish course 3/Swedish course B and English course 6/English course A are required. For courses given entirely in English, exemption is made from the requirement regarding Swedish course 3/Swedish course B.
