To provide a deepened knowledge and understanding of civil laws and regulations.

Course content
The course deals mainly with limited companies, trading companies and limited partnerships.
The following issues are discussed:
- How to choose the right corporate form
- Civil laws for establishing and liquidating a company.
- Personal liability.
- Allotment of authority.
- Collaboration within the various corporate forms.
An outline of incorporated and non-profit-making associations is discussed, as well as trade unions and franchising.
Domestic and international competitions are also treated during the course.

Paper exercise, 1.5 credits, marks Pass (G)
Examination, 6 credits, marks Pass (G) or Pass with distinction (VG)
A student who has a certificate from MDU regarding disability study support, can request adaptions for the examination. It is the examiner who takes decisions on any adaptions, based on the certificate and other conditions.
