Objectives

The purpose of this course is mainly to give the students an overview perspective of the legal system which regulating and have an impact on a company's internal relations as well as the relations to other companies, organisations, individual persons and the central and local government.

Learning outcomes

After finished course the students must be able to solve not too complicated legal problems, the students should also be able to read and understand legal regulations, case law and other legal texts. Further the students must be able to recognize and express more complicated legal problems related to companies.

Course content

The main contents are the following

  • an introduction, here the court system and some central concepts will be presented
  • contract law
  • sales act and consumer protection
  • debts, securities and bankruptcy
  • real estate
  • company law
  • labour law
  • torts and insurance
  • family law and heritage law
  • process- and criminal law
