Learning outcomes
On completion of the course, students shall be able to:
- critically analyse the interaction between behaviours and biomedical factors in all phases of the development of disease or illness in relation to patient groups of interest
- collect, compile and analyse data concerning situational factors, individual factors, behaviours and consequences of behaviours in relation to individually prioritized activities
- plan, carry out and evaluate adapted treatment interventions based on a behavioural analysis to improve and sustain activity and participation
- critically review, carry out and evaluate different types of interventions to support behavioural change and continued self-management
- provide arguments and reflections on own clinical reasoning in data collection, behavioural analyses and interventions
- critically analyse scientific studies of behavioural medicine interventions for relevant groups of patients
