Objectives
The course aims to integrate knowledge in electronics through a larger project. The student gains new perspectives on existing problems and is required to solve new challenges that arise when combining techniques from different areas of electronics within a single project. The work shall have substantial theoretical and practical depth, as the course prepares the student for conducting bachelor-level thesis projects.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course, the student should be able to:
- work independently as part of a larger group to achieve a common goal,
- conduct a larger project integrating the knowledge and skills acquired during the course,
- operate independently in terms of retrieving and utilizing relevant information,
- identify problems, justify appropriate solutions, and analyze the limitations of the proposed solution and
- document and present the solutions, both orally and in writing, in an informative and engaging manner for fellow course participants.
Course content
The course content will be planned together with the teacher.
Specific requirements
90 credits completed courses whereof 15 credits completed courses within electronics.
Examination
Project (PRO1), 15 credits, examines all learning outcomes, marks Fail (U) or Pass (G).
A student who has a certificate from MDU regarding disability study support, can request adaptions for the examination. It is the examiner who takes decisions on any adaptions, based on the certificate and other conditions.
