The aim is also to make the student prepared for possible future research.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course the student should be able to
- show both deep and broad knowledge within energy engineering
- have knowledge about research and development activities within the thesis area
- critically, independently and creatively identify, formulate and manage complex issues
- create, analyse and critically evaluate different technical solutions

- critically and systematic integrate knowledge and apply knowledge, theories and models for solving energy engineering problems also with limited information
- orally and in writing clearly present and discuss results and the knowledge and arguments they are based on
- independently perform a scientific opposition on others results in a critical way
-co-operate with clients, supervisors and other stakeholders
- make judgements based on relevant scientific, social, ethical and sustainability aspects and show awareness of ethical aspects of research and development
Course content
