Objectives
The objective of the course is to provide the participant with opportunity to develop ability to take part in the development of higher education.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course, the participant is expected to be able to
- discuss and problematise education, based on research in educational sciences and/or subject didactics of relevance for teaching in higher education
- jointly with others, plan, implement and evaluate education based on scholarship or artistic practice within their own area of knowledge
- collect, analyse and communicate their own and others' experiences and relevant outcomes of research, as a basis for the development of education and of the academic profession
- present an independent group project, concerning education within their own field of knowledge

- Planning, implementation, analysis and reporting of a project in higher education
Specific requirements
Employment intended for teaching at Mälardalen University.
Examination
PRO1, Project report, 3 credits, presentation of a project concerning learning outcomes 1-4, grades Fail (U) or Pass (G).
A student who has a certificate from MDU regarding disability study support, can request adaptions for the examination. It is the examiner who takes decisions on any adaptions, based on the certificate and other conditions.
