You decide who to become
At MDU you get the knowledge, the tools and the opportunity to create your future. Here you can choose between 1 000 courses and 58 programmes in design and communication, economics, health, teacher education, classical music and engineering.
In Eskilstuna and Västerås, we collaborate with housing agencies to make it easier for our students to find accommodation.
One University - two campuses
We have our main campus centrally in Eskilstuna and Västerås, but we also educate in Nyköping and Södertälje. The study environments are designed in collaboration with the students - and this is evident.
The University campus lies right in the heart of Eskilstuna, just a few minutes from the Central Station. If you want to do more than just study, the city’s restaurants, shops and night life lie close at hand.
The campus in Västerås is just a 15-minute walk from the Central Station, right between the city centre’s active life and recreation facilities. On the one side lie the old town and the city centre, with its wide range of malls, cafés, restaurants and other entertainment facilities.
Collaboration – for your sake
All MDU’s courses and study programmes are produced in collaboration with the private and public sectors to ensure that you, the student, have the relevant skills on graduating. Collaboration also provides opportunities for real-life projects, placements, trainee positions and network-creating during your period of studies – quite simply unique offers for you as a student.
Here people meet who want to develop themselves and the future
MDU’s students are attractive in the labor market. According to the University Chancellor's Office, 86 percent of MDU’s students get jobs in their field one year after graduation.
