Children take part in participatory digital health research
The project focuses on children's participation in digital care and children as co-creators of research data. The project aims to understand children's experiences and self-perceived concerns about privacy and confidentiality in digital health and welfare.
What we will do
We will find out how children perceive digital health in general, and specifically how they perceive privacy (or the right to be private). We will also find out how children are involved in research. Different methods will be used, such as surveys and child-led workshops.
Objectives
To create the conditions for better customised and equitable digital health for children through child participation.
Why are we exploring this?
Digital health and care is relatively new, and is constantly evolving. However, laws, regulations and rights in digital health have not developed as fast, especially for children.
