Advisory Group

The advisory group consists of eight members from academia, civil society, business, and the public sector. The chair is Professor Jonas Stier. Based on their experiences and expertise, the group's role is to support the center leadership in making strategic decisions, such as setting the direction of the activities and long-term priorities. The advisory group aims to promote the center's local, regional, national, and international relations-building and visibility. Members are appointed for a term of three years, with the possibility of reappointment.

Sociologist and Professor of Social Work at MDU, Jonas has extensive experience in research and education focused on collaboration with actors outside the higher education sector. Jonas is the scientific leader of Samhällskontraktet and one of the founders of Addai.org – a policy initiative focused on artificial intelligence.

The Administrative Director of Köping Municipality.

Annasarah is deeply committed to the care and welfare mission. She strongly believes that dialogue and learning foster active employee engagement. With a deep understanding of the daily challenges and needs faced by care and welfare, Anna Sarah aims to contribute her knowledge and experience to the development of the center.

Daniel Boqvist

Process Leader and Business Development Manager at Automation Region.

Brings extensive experience in operations and business development. He works with systemic innovation, strategic collaborations, international relations, and leadership driven by transformation and innovation. Daniel contributes with expertise in innovation clusters and complex systems involving multiple stakeholders.

Emma Hanson

Strategic Advisor for Sustainable Regional Development focusing on business development and innovation in Region Sörmland.

Emma aims to contribute her knowledge of the business sector and innovation systems in Sörmland, Östra Mellansverige, and nationally. She brings a regional perspective to the center's activities, ensuring that regional needs and insights are integrated into its operations.

Sarah Wamala Andersson

Professor and subject representative in health and welfare technology at MDU.

Sarah aims to contribute her interdisciplinary research, extensive professional and leadership experience from the public sector, business, academia, and international collaboration. She is driven to translate research into practical applications to create meaningful impact.

Simon Vinge

Chief Economist at Akademikerförbundet SSR.

Simon aims to incorporate both employee and citizen perspectives in the ongoing technology development. He emphasizes that the work with algorithms and automations seeks to uphold transparency and participation, promoting a more democratized approach to technology.

Peter Kjäll

Policy expert at Techsverige and has a doctoral degree in Medical Sciences.

Peter has spent many years working in the innovation ecosystem surrounding tech in healthcare and life sciences, holding roles in academia, industrial research, entrepreneurship, and the private sector. Through these perspectives, he aims to contribute to research and evidence-building efforts.

Professor and research leader in Innovation and Product Realization at MDU.

Moris works on the development of digital technology such as IoT, cloud services, smart systems, and AI. He is particularly interested in integrating human and sustainability aspects in the development, adaptation, and application of digital technologies.

Jonas Cederberg

Area Manager for Medical Diagnostics and Technology, as well as the Medical Steering Committee, Region Västmanland.

Jonas is a trained physician with a PhD in medical cell biology. He aims to contribute his knowledge, expertise, and perspective from the region's healthcare operations.
