PROVIDENT: Predictable Software Development in Connected Vehicles Utilising Blended TSN-5G Networks

Modern vehicles require high-speed sensors and communication to collaborate effectively in areas like autonomous quarries, mines, and recycling sites. Traditional communication methods are too slow, but TSN and 5G offer promising solutions. However, there's no complete software development framework for predictable vehicular systems that use blended TSN-5G communication. The PROVIDENT project aims to develop this framework, providing cost-efficient development, better quality functions, and better use of resources. The consortium includes academia, a tool developer, and an end user.
