GREENER: Intelligent energy management in connected construction sites

The aim of this project is to reduce energy consumption on electric construction sites by designing components that optimize energy distribution, storage, and management, as well as fleet optimization. The proposed intelligent system architecture will use data processing techniques to make decisions based on data generated by reliable communication infrastructure. The project will use analytical, simulation, and real-world experiments to verify results obtained from modeling and development. Novel AI and optimization techniques will be used to process data in real-time and reduce energy consumption while increasing system productivity. The project will also consider customer demands, and will aim to design connected and reliable wireless networks for the communication infrastructure.
