The International Health and Welfare Technology Co-Creation Conference

In May 2023, MDU will be hosting the first-ever international interdisciplinary conference on digital health and welfare technologies.

With six primary themes as a starting point, the rest of the conference is designed by potential participants in an online, co-creation process. This unique format will allow all interested stakeholders – user groups, industry, academia, public and private health care providers, policymakers, and more – to make the conference program as relevant and engaging as possible. Ideas can be submitted until the end of 2022.

The digital technologies that the conference focuses on serve to maintain or promote health, wellbeing, and quality of life, but can also improve the delivery and working conditions of welfare, health, and social care services. The Nordic countries use these technologies widely but there are considerable gaps in knowledge, research, and co-operation in the field, which the conference hopes to alleviate.

The International Health and Welfare Technology Co-Creation Conference will be held May 4-5, 2023, both digitally and in-person in Eskilstuna, Sweden. The conference is supported by Forte.
