19:00–19:30 Collaboration for learning and well-being in school

Some say that our students in school have become more aggressive, more difficult to deal with and that they need to change. We say that the responsibility lies with the adults; professionals in schools and also us researchers. If we want the students to start listening and participate better, we need to start that process ourselves and also together with the students. We do this in so called research circles which I will tell you about in this short talk.

Bio, Anette Olin Almqvist: I started as a teacher in Gothenburg and have always been interested in school development and how people in schools and preschools, children, students and teachers, understand and work together. Nowadays I am a professor specialized in collaborative research, where I as researcher not only study what happens in school but also intervene and learn together with everyone in different projects of research and development.
