Applied Energy Symposium and Forum: Resilient energy systems

Here you will find the latest advancements in research and development of resilient energy systems. The forum is international, with participation from all stakeholders such as academia, industry, and policymakers. The event is organised by the Competence Centre for Resilient Energy Systems, with the goal of creating a sustainable transformation of the Swedish energy system.

About the event

The transformation to resilient energy systems is dependent on interdisciplinary knowledge. With this as theme of the conference, the Resilient2025 aims to provide a premier international forum for all stakeholders including academia, industry and policy decision makers to present and share latest findings in all aspects across this domain, discussing issues such as security of supply, flexibility solutions, sector coupling as well as market developments at local, regional, national and international level to support a more sustainable and resilient energy system.

Resilient 2025 is organized by the Swedish Competence Centre RESILIENT energy systems, led by Mälardalen University, in collaboration with the international journals Applied Energy and Advances in Applied Energy, the Applied Energy Innovation Institute (AEii), and the Swedish Competence Centres Solar Electricity Research Centre, Swedish Mobility Centre, Swedish Centre for Sustainable Hydro Power, Trees for Me and Electricity Storage and Balancing Centre. The event consists of a three-day symposium in Västerås (SEP 23-25) for sharing the most recent progress of research and development in resilient energy systems.
