The Welcoming

We want you to have a great start to the autumn semester. On the afternoon of 29 August, we invite all our students to campus Västerås and The Welcoming, no matter what you're studying or in what form!

Let's fill campus Västerås with atmosphere, joy and lots of fun activities for one afternoon. Indoors and outdoors. And of course: lots of lovely student friends, both new and old acquaintances!

From the stage, our students Aya and Carol play great music for you during the breaks. Aya is usually studying International Business Management and Carol is on the Economics programme, but on this day they are our awesome DJs!

Programme for the day

12.00 Specially ordered free buses leave from Rademachergatan.

13.00-16.00 Fair inside Länken. Several exhibitors who want to meet you as a student! Organised by Mälardalen Student Union.

13.15-13.45 Meet teachers and student union associations at our outdoor meeting place.

14.00 The stage programme begins. Prorector welcomes you and Mälardalen Student Union tells you more about their work and student life at MDU.

15.00 The student union organisations on stage.

15.20 Artists of the year: LBSB and Sean Banan.

16.00 End of the stage programme and the fair.

16.15 Bus to Eskilstuna, from the bus stop on Vasagatan, outside Arosvallen.
