New learning platform to enhance physiotherapists’ knowledge of obesity

In recent years, MDU has participated in an Erasmus-funded project focused on developing obesity-related training for physiotherapy students. The project, which is now drawing to a close in April, has brought together an international partnership with the aim of strengthening expertise in this growing public health issue.

On 24 March, the project’s open learning platform will be launched in conjunction with a webinar. The platform is freely accessible and offers evidence-based resources and teaching materials that can be used in both education and clinical practice.

The initiative is expected to contribute to increased knowledge and better conditions for future physiotherapists to work with patients living with obesity.
