MDU Holding AB

MDU Holding AB is Mälardalen University's holding company and an integral part of the university’s innovation ecosystem. The company works closely with MDU’s innovation support functions and aims to ensure that knowledge, research and innovations originating from the university create value for society.

MDU Holding AB may, among other things

• participate in the formation of new companies based on research or student innovations
• make investments in early-stage knowledge-based growth companies with links to MDU
• manage and develop intellectual property assets, including through licensing
• support innovation and commercialisation projects connected to the university.
  

Through its activities, the company contributes to strengthening the utilisation of research and innovation while promoting sustainable growth and societal development.

The company was established in 2022 and is governed by a Board of Directors and managed by a Chief Executive Officer.
