MDU Holding AB

MDU Holding AB is part of the University's innovation operations and works closely with MDU's innovation advice at Idélab, the innovation centre.

MDU Holding AB is there to assist with:

• The formation of new companies
• Licensing deals
• Investments in early-stage research and student companies
• Support in the development of start-up companies that have a connection to MDU

The holding company must enable society to benefit from knowledge and research findings from MDU in line with the vision – a progressive and collaborative University where together we shape a sustainable future.

The company was established in the autumn of 2022 and now work is underway to develop an organisation within the holding company that can operate in line with MDU's strategic goals. The work is led by the CEO of the holding company and its Board of Directors.
