Knowledge Environments
The pace of change in today’s society is faster than ever, with global issues such as climate change, technological development and the threat to democracy intersecting with local problems. Society faces major challenges, so complex that they can only be understood by drawing on knowledge and perspectives from many different fields simultaneously. To address today’s societal challenges, MDU has created what we call ‘knowledge environments’.
Within the knowledge environment, various academic disciplines come together to address a societal challenge, contributing to a sustainable future through cutting-edge research and modern education.
Knowledge environments are platforms for new knowledge and idea generation, and they collaborate across disciplines within the university as well as with the wider community.
